Theories Behind Increase in Gluten Sensitivities, and Why Gluten Free Multigrain Bread is Beneficial to All
Even though scientists in the United States still have not found a reason behind the substantial increase in celiac disease diagnoses and gluten sensitivities, there are a few theories that they have come up with that might offer some explanation. As many as 10 percent of Americans have sensitivities to gluten that present symptoms in forms such as, gastrointestinal problems, skin disorders, headaches, and joint pain. Diets that are low in gluten, or entirely gluten-free are beneficial to these people in particular, as it can cause complete elimination of their symptoms. Incorporating foods such as gluten free multigrain bread is an important way for them to get the nutrients that they need in order to stay healthy and keep their bodies functioning properly.
One popular theory, the “hygiene theory”, believes that our increasing obsession with maintaining hyper-sanitized environments has grown so excessive that our immune systems are stunted from childhood because we weren’t exposed enough to germs that would have strengthened our systems. This is a popular theory for many ailments, as the number of diagnoses in children for many disorders has drastically increased over the past couple of decades. Another theory is that there is a far greater amount of gluten in our foods today than there used to be, and because gluten is not easily tolerated by anyone’s digestive system, more people are displaying symptoms and even becoming allergic. Regardless of the reasons that may have caused a country full of gluten-sensitive individuals, it has become a statistic that can’t be ignored.
Embracing a gluten-free diet is beneficial to anyone, sensitive or not, because it is more wholesome in many ways. Eating gluten free multigrain breads instead of regular bread is better for your digestion and your overall health since it offers you nutrients that regular bread cannot. If you want to give your body a real boost, consider substituting a few gluten-free products into your diet.

Mum is Forever Eating Food That Burns Fat
My mum is forever eating food that burns fat and because of this there is never anything in the house to eat that I like. This means that to actually get fed on anything more than rabbit food, I have to go to the store or the local takeaway and spend my own hard earned cash. I don’t have a lot of this to spare because I am still at school and only have a morning and weekend paper round, and as you can imagine that hardly brings in the big money. I am always asking her to think of me when she goes shopping but she thinks that she is going me a favor as well as she says she is preventing me from becoming a fat kid. I don’t think that she is at all though and I don’t think that she can see much past her own crazy diet ideas and that is not fair at all.
Can’t Get Along with All Vitamin a Foods
Why is it that most of the vitamin A foods that I have tried I really don’t like? My doctor has told me that to help me to get over a re-occurring illness that I have to eat a load of these foods in my everyday diet. This seemed easy at first because many of them are fruits and vegetables, but you can’t just survive on those. I tried to mix it up a bit and try some new things from a list of these foods that I printed off from a health foods website, but to be honest there were few things that I really got on with. When it comes to things like tomato juice and carrot juice they are just not things that I can get on with, a glass every now and again is hard work so having them all of the time is just not something that has any appeal to me at all.
Getting Kids to Conserve Water
Getting kids to do just about anything can sometimes be a bity of a chore. Educating them about how they can help everyone by conserving water doesn’t have to be difficult though, and can actually be fun. It’s important that everyone knows about water conservation, but it’s really great when we can get kids involved and interested at a young age so they live a water concious life. There are no resources that are more important than our drinking water, so everyone must contribute in order for us to continue to have this resource.
One fun way to get kids involved in water conservation is by starting a garden. Having kids participate in gardening is a great way to learn about plants, life, and a ton of things. One of the things we can teach them about is sustainable watering techniques. This includes ways to water the plants to reduce run off and evaportation, and ho we can use water we’ve gathered from the rain, rather than tap or hose water, to water our garden.
You can also have them do little thinigs like turning the water off during tooth brushing time. A lot of grown ups even have this bad habit of leaving the water running and pouring tons of water down the drain. If you teach kids that they shouldn’t do this while they’re still young, they won’t even develop this bad habit, and they won’t have to learn to not do it later. If more people would do this we would collectively save thousands of useable water every single day.
Learning about water conservation doesn’t have to be a chore. If you can come up with fun and creative ways to have them conserve water before they even know why they’re doing it that’s great. If you can educate them about it’s importance, then even better.
